Window shutters
A shutter, French door or wicket is a small exterior door fixed to the window using hinges or a sliding system. Like blinds, their function is to prevent the passage of light, cold or heat, in addition to protecting the window and preventing it from getting dirty with rain.
There are different types of shutters, among which the following stand out:
• Opaque
• Venetian
Wood is considered one of the best materials for manufacturing shutters, since it does not suffer from thermal bridges and offers excellent insulating properties. Below we leave you some examples.
