PORCH/TERRACE EXTENSION
TYPOLOGY
The shapes of porches and terraces have evolved over time, so it is interesting to know what shapes are available.
Flat: it is the simplest and can be adapted to almost any space.
Curved: can be combined with the flat one and creates convex arches to improve statics.
Skirt: it has a slotted roof that is usually well integrated into the flat ones creating
creating a wider space.
Pergolas: they allow light to pass through while creating shaded areas.
The roof is also slotted and is often used for very sunny periods.
Gazebo: these are usually insulated structures with closed, semi-open or open roofs.
